The Superocean Steelfish, which was discontinued in 2012 was one of Breitling’s most popular models. The Superocean still exists, but current iterations are equipped with rubberclad bezels, while many aficionados prefer the clean steel bezel of this version. The size, at 44mm, is chunky, but not overly large. The bracelet and case both have a brushed finish which is unlike most Breitling models and is great for resisting the appearance of wear.
The A17390 was introduced in 2006, at that time called the SteelFish X-Plus since there was also a 42mm SteelFish. It was produced until 2012. The earlier models have a square dot for the second hand, while the more recent editions have an arrow hand.
