The Ronde Croisiere de Cartier is quite a mouthful. It is also one of Cartier’s newer models, introduced in 2015. The piece is elegant as all Cartier watches must be, and still manages a certain element of informality. The dial has a refined guilloche pattern in the center with applied silver Roman markers. The contrasting silver seconds track and finely brushed bezel keeps it from being too serious. The hands are large but skeletonized to balance legibility without overwhelming the dial. The canvas strap is soft leather lined and sports Cartier’s simple deployant clasp. Croisiere translates to “Cruise” and this watch evokes an image of stylish party on a yacht.
