Omega Seamaster Watches
The Omega Seamaster was first introduced in 1947 looking nothing like its present incarnation. It was essentially a dress watch and was highly acclaimed at the time for being "water proof" a term that meant having a water resistance of around 30 meters, now considered basic in modern watches. In the 1970s the Seamaster began morphing into a sportier style, with higher visibility dials, and higher depth ratings. The dressier models, Seamaster 120 (now discontinued) and the Seamaster Aqua Terra became aesthetically distinct from the sportier version, officially renamed the Seamaster Pro in 1988. The Omega Seamaster line recently grew with the introduction of another sporty Seamaster, the PlanetOcean with its exceptional depth rating and signature orange bezel.
